About The Position

Innovatia is seeking experienced Commercial Banking professionals to deliver a national Sales Capability Program for one of Canada's leading financial institutions. Your role is to bring credibility, practical insight, and executive presence to the classroom, delivering the program through engaging instructor-led sessions and enriching discussions with authentic Commercial Banking experience.

Requirements

Significant experience in Canadian Commercial Banking and can speak credibly to experienced bankers about sales execution, relationship management, business development, and credit fundamentals.
Comfortable in front of a room and know how to make content land with a seasoned audience.
Experience in one or more of the following is required: Commercial Banking Relationship Management or Sales, Business Development or Commercial Lending, Sales Leadership or Coaching, Commercial Banking Learning & Development.
Practical knowledge of prospecting, consultative selling, pipeline management, financial statement interpretation, cash flow analysis, discovery conversations, and opportunity identification.
Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
Strong executive presence and credibility with experienced Commercial Banking professionals.
Ability to adapt facilitation style to meet learner needs while maintaining consistency with the program curriculum.
Strong organizational and classroom management skills.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience within a Canadian financial institution is strongly preferred.
Experience facilitating instructor-led learning for banking professionals.
Experience with sales capability, workforce enablement, or Train-the-Trainer initiatives.
National program rollout experience.
Bilingual facilitation (English and French).

Responsibilities

Deliver the Commercial Banking Sales Capability Program through instructor-led training sessions across Canada.
Facilitate discussions, case studies, simulations, role plays, and experiential learning activities.
Draw on your own banking experience to provide relevant examples and business context that reinforce learning objectives.
Participate in curriculum familiarization, program orientation, and pilot preparation activities.
Provide observations and recommendations following delivery sessions to support program refinement.
Collaborate with project representatives and client stakeholders throughout the engagement.
Deliver a fully developed Commercial Banking Sales Capability Program through engaging instructior-led sessions, bringing your Commerical Banking expertise, practical insights, and executive presence to enrich the learning experience.
