Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Training, Human Resources, or in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a Training facilitator or similar role
  • Experience in instructional design and adult learning principles
  • Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English, both oral and written due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with english-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Advanced intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and virtual training platforms (e.g., Microsoft Teams)

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging training sessions across multiple Property & Casualty broker insurance teams, including Commercial Lines, Personal Lines, Surety and Claims.
  • Adapt content to meet diverse learning styles and participant needs.
  • Facilitate discussions and activities that spark collaboration and deepen understanding.
  • Measure impact through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to identify training needs and design tailored solutions.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by keeping up with industry trends and best practices.
  • Conduct annual maintenance on existing courses based on learner feedback or changes to organizational guidelines or process.
  • Manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of delivery.
  • Build strong connections and establish credibility with learners.
