About The Position

The Commercial Region Manager manages the Commercial banking activities for an assigned region. They develop strategies to meet established goals for loan growth, deposit growth, fees, expense management, and overall Commercial regional operating income performance.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in banking leading or managing a team
  • Bachelor's degree

Responsibilities

  • Directs the Commercial business development activities for the region.
  • Oversees the quality of the loan portfolio and compliance with credit policy and regulations.
  • Establishes procedures to ensure credit risk is monitored and is ultimately held accountable for credit risk within the Commercial portfolio of the region.
  • Direct involvement in major relationships, including negotiating and structuring complex transactions and credits.
  • Represents Huntington in the professional marketplace/community through: Involvement with professional network to be visible to subordinates and management. Active participation in Huntington sponsored events. Participation in community events, serving on local boards, demonstrating Huntington support for the local community.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
