Sr. Commercial Auto Field Claims Adjuster
About The Position
This position is fully remote and will be located in or around the Minneapolis, MN, and Twin Cities area. As a Commercial Auto Claims Field Adjuster for Great West Casualty Company, you will investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and resolve claims in the field. This includes estimating equipment and cargo damages, collaborating with repair facilities to ensure accurate repair costs, and managing losses from initial inspection through resolution. This role requires a strong understanding of the trucking industry, the ability to build effective relationships with body shops and service providers, and a high level of accountability. We are seeking a self-driven professional who takes ownership of their work and is committed to helping our insureds return to the road safely and efficiently following an accident.
Requirements
- 1-5 years claims adjusting experience
- Ambition and a desire to learn.
- Solid communication, critical thinking, and negotiation skills.
Nice To Haves
- Commercial truck estimating experience.
- Knowledge of diesel mechanics or semi-truck parts.
- Knowledge of the commercial trucking industry is a plus.
- Ability to build effective relationships with body shops and service providers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a knowledgeable, collaborative, and friendly team.
- Strong communication skills.
