About The Position

United Automobile Insurance Company (UAIC), a privately held property and casualty insurance company, is seeking a Commercial Auto Claims Property Damage Adjuster to join their team. This role is responsible for investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving Commercial Property Damage claims involving fleet and commercial risks, ensuring timely, fair, and compliant claim outcomes. The position offers a remote work arrangement within the Southeast region.

Requirements

Active Florida Adjuster License required.
Minimum 3 years of Commercial Auto Property Damage claims handling experience required.
Experience handling Commercial vehicles up to 25,000 lbs. and 1–10 vehicle fleets.
Strong reserving knowledge (must have).
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience handling Florida claims preferred.
Guidewire knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

Investigate PD claims, liability, coverage and damages.
Review policies, endorsements and combined single limit exposures.
Obtain statements, police reports, medical records and repair documentation.
Evaluate injury severity, vehicle damages and total loss exposures.
Establish and maintain appropriate reserves.
Negotiate settlements within authority.
Communicate with insureds, claimants, attorneys and vendors.
Maintain quality documentation and compliance.
Handle coverage for Commercial vehicles up to 25,000 lbs. and 1–10 vehicle fleets.
Apply strong reserving knowledge.
