About The Position

Wilson McLain Plumbing is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Plumbing Apprentices. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the plumbing trade while working alongside experienced, licensed plumbers in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. This position involves working indoors and outdoors and may require working in various weather conditions, confined spaces, or elevated areas. Occasional overtime may be required. A background check is required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 75 pounds
• Basic math and mechanical skills
• Reliable attendance and professionalism

Nice To Haves

• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
• Interest in pursuing a career as a licensed plumber

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
• Carry tools and materials to and from job sites
• Cut, assemble, and install piping under supervision
• Help test plumbing systems and identify leaks
• Prepare and clean job sites
• Learn plumbing codes, blueprints, and industry best practices
• Follow all safety procedures and company standards
