About The Position
Wilson McLain Plumbing is seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Plumbing Apprentices. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn the plumbing trade while working alongside experienced, licensed plumbers in residential, commercial, and industrial environments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 75 pounds
- Basic math and mechanical skills
- Reliable attendance and professionalism
- Interest in pursuing a career as a licensed plumber
Nice To Haves
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems
- Carry tools and materials to and from job sites
- Cut, assemble, and install piping under supervision
- Help test plumbing systems and identify leaks
- Prepare and clean job sites
- Learn plumbing codes, blueprints, and industry best practices
- Follow all safety procedures and company standards
