About The Position

The NAMR Commercial Team is at the forefront of driving BCG’s commercial agenda with clients. This is a dynamic and challenging role with multiple responsibilities requiring diverse skillsets. The Commercial Analyst will partner closely with experienced Commercial Directors to support and enable Managing Directors & Partners and client account teams on commercial best practices. The role involves supporting deal processes, drafting commercial agreements, contributing to best practices and tools, capturing competitive intelligence, and identifying AI tools for efficiency. There are also opportunities to lead initiatives for global Revenue Management strategy and operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders, preferably in a dynamic project-based work environment
  • 3+ years of relevant professional services experience with preference for experience in law, procurement, structured finance, private equity, corporate development, management consulting or investment banking
  • Experience in multinational environments desirable
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Learning new topics and skills with a combination of intellectual curiosity, desire for professional growth, and receptiveness to feedback
  • Applying strong analytical skills, judgement, and creativity to solve challenging problems and translate data into insights
  • Skillfully navigating a complex matrixed organization
  • Providing exceptional customer service and focusing on the most critical issues to have an impact on the organization and meet business needs
  • Developing strong working relationships and thoughtfully balancing the needs of multiple stakeholder groups
  • Expertly communicating verbally and in writing
  • Remaining organized and prioritizing in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced degree, preferably an MBA, JD or PhD
  • Experience using GenAI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to improve productivity and workflow efficiency preferred

Responsibilities

  • Teaming with Commercial Directors on deal support (e.g., developing negotiation strategy, analytical modeling, advising on tactics) throughout the end-to-end process for establishing rate cards & MSAs, value-based pricing arrangements, investments and other complex deals
  • Supporting drafting of commercial aspects of agreements and coordination of contract development in partnership with Legal and case teams
  • Contributing to commercial best practices, content, and decision-making tools that enable the NAMR Commercial team and client teams
  • Capturing and sharing competitive intelligence from deal work to help uncover trends and inform commercial strategy
  • Identifying, applying, and sharing AI tools and workflows to streamline repetitive tasks and improve efficiency across deal support activities
  • Working collaboratively with the broader NAMR Commercial team to support team-based initiatives, projects and recurring team management activities
  • Leading and contributing to initiatives that will drive innovations and enhancements to our global Revenue Management strategy and operations
