About The Position

The Commercial Ag Pre-Closer reviews loan requests and associated documentation prior to approving final closing documents. The role involves utilizing sales training skills to provide outstanding customer service and ensuring all required documents (financial statements, taxes, appraisals, corporate resolutions, title work with sufficient coverage, etc.) are collected and ready for closing. Any missing items are to be recorded in the pending/missing database.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One – three months’ related experience
• Valid Driver’s License
• Compliance with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), including accurate completion of Currency Transaction Reports (CTR) when applicable, Anti-Money Laundering Act (AML), Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC) and the USA PATRIOT Act.
• Adhere to Customer Identification, Customer Due Diligence and reporting of suspicious activities to the BSA Department.

Responsibilities

• Compare loan request to loan proposal/officer approval for accuracy
• Verify closing requirements have been fulfilled
• Ensure exceptions to policy have been approved and there is appropriate documentation
• Track all exceptions
• Review documents prior to printing
• Comply and satisfactorily pass tests for bank policy and regulations that apply to position
