About The Position

We are seeking a proactive and thorough Commercial Advisor to lead the resolution of issues arising from daily commercial operations on the Westcoast pipeline system. Acting as a primary interface between Enbridge and complex, high‑profile customers, this role ensures effective execution of nominations, allocations, imbalance management, invoicing, and tariff interpretation. Drawing on strong analytical and industry expertise, you will optimize pipeline capacity, support outage planning, and provide insights on volumes, imbalances, and market conditions to support Commercial, Marketing, Accounting, and Regulatory teams while maintaining safe, reliable, and customer‑focused pipeline operations. Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in a related field with broad business knowledge within the oil & gas industry.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work proactively and under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service approach with proven relationship management abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and strong written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Experience or knowledge of oil & gas commercial/physical operations, natural gas markets, measurement processes, or the Westcoast pipeline system is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Support high-profile, complex customers using contracted pipeline services, addressing nominations, scheduling, allocations, imbalances, invoicing, LINK system usage, and tariff interpretation.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for Daily Commercial Operations, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and tariff requirements.
  • Manage system imbalances in collaboration with shippers, interconnects, and gas control to ensure accurate and timely resolution.
  • Support contract administration activities, including contract execution, assignments, and renewals.
  • Maintain accurate volumetric and compositional measurement data; investigate and resolve metering and gas chromatograph discrepancies while ensuring auditable records.
  • Prepare reports and analyses for internal teams (Commercial, Business Development, Accounting, Regulatory), provide analyst coverage as needed, and drive continuous improvement to reduce inefficiencies.
