About The Position

Zions Bank is seeking a Commercial Account Manager (Portfolio Analyst) to join their team. This role involves assisting a portfolio of commercial banking clients with routine servicing needs, including inquiries on commercial loans, opening and maintaining depository services, and other bank products. The position also requires establishing depository accounts, processing loan advances and paydowns, managing various service transactions, providing administrative support to the commercial banking team, and performing quality reviews of legal documentation and system data. The role is responsible for managing all loan post-closing activities and reporting requirements for the assigned portfolio, and partnering with management and other departments to resolve client issues.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent.
  • 1+ years of bank operations, customer service, administrative support, or other directly related experience.
  • Superior level of professionalism.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of relationship banking concepts including products, terminology, procedures, loan documentation, and systems related to servicing client needs.
  • At least 1 year of lending experience, preferably in Commercial Lending.

Responsibilities

  • Assist assigned Relationship Manager(s) to handle routine servicing needs for a portfolio of commercial banking clients, including inquiries on commercial loans, opening and maintaining depository services, and other bank products.
  • Establish depository accounts and additional services for commercial clients.
  • Process requests for loan advances or paydowns, deposit transfers, and wire transfers.
  • Perform service transactions such as address changes, check orders, ATM card issuance/activation, accepting loan payments, supplying account balances, and performing stop payments.
  • Provide administrative support to the commercial banking team, including document and data entry into commercial loan tracking systems.
  • Support expeditious loan requests by working with lending and middle office teams.
  • Perform quality reviews of legal documentation, system data, and file maintenance requests.
  • Manage all loan post-closing activities.
  • Manage all reporting requirements for the assigned portfolio.
  • Partner with management and other bank departments to research client issues and ensure timely resolution.
