About The Position

The Quality Control Servicing department within EML functions as a first line of defense, performing independent and objective reviews of the sub-servicer’s processes and regulatory compliance to determine the effectiveness of internal controls in managing compliance and procedural risks. We are currently seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to join our team. This position is full time in office and is located at our Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.

Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field and 8+ years experience with specific departmental/area processes, procedures, programs, regulations, compliance or other directly related experience.
  • Quality review/audit experience.
  • A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  • Expert knowledge of quality assurance programs, departmental/area policies, processes, procedures and practices.
  • Excellent audit, research, analysis, decision making and problem resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Must be a self starter.
  • Excellent client relations and communications skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to handle and accomplish multiple tasks and resolve competing priorities effectively.
  • Ability to articulate sensitive and challenging positions on issues involving multiple parties.
  • Ability to influence department/division staff/management based on sound logical reasoning and fact-based analysis.
  • Ability to adapt to change and shifting business priorities.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in PC and MS Office skills, Power Point.
  • Ability to lead and train lower level staff.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the performing quality assurance reviews and review of work, processes and/or procedures for various business functions.
  • Identifies red flags, collects, aggregates and analyzes data as a result of quality reviews.
  • Makes recommendations based on the completion of quality analysis reports to be used in the identification of continuous quality improvement activities.
  • Responsible to identify and communicate impact on quality assurance issues for processes, procedures and programs.
  • Performs audits for risk controls and regulatory quality control to ensure compliance.
  • Perform research to support quality review findings, exceptions and resolve issues.
  • Validates standards, measures performance and determines compliance with, which includes monitoring trending, reporting and ensures that department/division guidelines are being met.
  • Identifies and assesses operational risk and impact, makes recommendations for effective policies and controls to manage risk within various operations.
