Command Center Operator - Casino Security
About The Position
Under the direction of the Security Shift Supervisor, incumbent is responsible for overseeing command center or podium as assigned to dispatch security personnel, receive incoming calls and maintains required log books. Duties include, but not limited to: Prepares detailed incident reports in a clear and precise manner. Operates and monitors the fire alarm and security CCTV systems. Implements notification process in emergency situations, assists in the coordination of emergency situations. Promotes an outgoing, friendly customer oriented personality at all times, Provides basic security coverage ensuring that adequate protection is provided for the safety and assets of patrons, employees and the company, Ensures that proper security is provided for all transfers of monies within the casino and hotel areas of the complex. Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required and a minimum of one (1) year of appropriate experience preferred, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be able to effectively direct vehicular traffic in parking lots/garage and entrances/exits.
- Must be able to communicate with guests and other employees in a positive manner.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and wear a radio earphone without any medical limitations.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
