About The Position

Comfort Consultant (Outside Sales) at F.H. Furr Plumbing, Heating, Air Conditioning & Electrical. This role is for a proven sales professional who thrives in a consultative, in-home environment and wants their performance to directly drive their income. Comfort Consultants play a critical role in helping homeowners improve comfort, efficiency, and safety, while earning uncapped commissions in a stable, high-demand industry.

Requirements

  • Proven Sales Success – Consistent achievement of sales goals (industry background flexible)
  • Consultative Sales Mindset – Ability to build trust, uncover needs, and present value-based solutions
  • High Integrity – Commitment to ethical selling and customer satisfaction
  • Communication Skills – Strong verbal, written, and digital communication abilities
  • Technology Comfort – Proficient with tablets, digital documentation, and CRM tools
  • Valid Driver’s License – Clean driving record required; must be at least 21 years of age

Responsibilities

  • In-Home Consultation & Sales - Educate homeowners on solutions that enhance comfort, energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and overall home health.
  • Customer Experience Excellence - Answer questions, explain system options, and guide customers through confident, informed purchasing decisions.
  • Sales Process Execution - Follow and adapt F.H. Furr’s structured, high-performing consultative sales process.
  • Collaboration & Communication - Maintain strong communication with Sales Coordinators, Service Managers, and Leadership.
  • Documentation & Follow-Through - Accurately document calls, recommendations, and job details to ensure seamless execution.
  • Ongoing Development - Participate in training, meetings, and professional development activities to continuously sharpen skills.
