Comfort Advisor/Consultant
About The Position
Legacy Heating and Air is seeking a driven, self-motivated Comfort Advisor to join their growing team. This role offers a high-earning sales opportunity for individuals passionate about helping homeowners improve their comfort and who have a strong sales background. The Comfort Advisor will build a high-income career with uncapped potential by meeting with homeowners, evaluating their heating, cooling, and plumbing needs, and presenting customized solutions. The position involves delivering professional sales presentations, building trust through a consultative approach, preparing proposals, managing a sales pipeline, and potentially conducting heat load and loss calculations.
Requirements
- 4+ years of HVAC and/or plumbing system sales experience with a proven track record
- Strong understanding of sales strategy and customer psychology
- Excellent organizational and pipeline management skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with homeowners
- Strong computer and technology skills
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Goal-oriented mindset with a strong desire to succeed
Nice To Haves
- Experience in related industries such as kitchen/bath, windows, siding, roofing, insulation, or home performance
- BPI, NCI, or similar certifications preferred
Responsibilities
- Meet with homeowners to evaluate their heating, cooling, and plumbing needs
- Present customized solutions that improve comfort, efficiency, and overall home performance
- Deliver professional, high-impact sales presentations that clearly communicate value
- Build trust with customers through honesty, integrity, and a consultative sales approach
- Prepare accurate proposals and secure signed agreements
- Manage your sales pipeline and follow up with prospects to close opportunities
- Conduct or learn heat load and loss calculations to properly size systems
- Work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends, to meet customer needs
