About The Position

Capital Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, & Electric is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Comfort Advisor / Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance and personalized solutions to homeowners and businesses seeking heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical services. You will assess customer needs, recommend appropriate products and services, and facilitate the sales process from initial consultation to project completion. The ideal candidate is a persuasive communicator with strong sales skills, a customer-centric mindset, and a solid understanding of HVAC and home comfort systems. Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or related home services industries.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build trust and rapport quickly.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and handle multiple customer interactions.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications are a plus.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-home or on-site consultations to evaluate customer comfort needs and recommend suitable products and services.
  • Educate customers on available heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical solutions, emphasizing benefits and features.
  • Prepare accurate sales proposals, quotes, and contracts tailored to customer requirements.
  • Work closely with installation and service teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage follow-up communications to nurture leads and close sales effectively.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry products, promotions, and technologies.
  • Achieve or exceed assigned sales targets and contribute to the company’s growth.
