Requirements

• Three to five years’ prior sales experience in their given industry.
• Strong competitive drive, an assertive personality, an outgoing demeanor and a positive outlook.
• Must work independently and maintain a fast pace.
• Adaptability to change, organization, professional appearance and resourcefulness are all required.
• Proficient with personal computers and iPads and be able to use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Nice To Haves

• HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing service, installation or sales experience is also recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate prospect’s homes for the installation of heating and cooling equipment, as well as electrical or plumbing products and services, and educate the client on available options.
• Draw up proposals, close deals, and negotiate terms.
• Completing administrative work, proposal generation, change orders, documenting calls, conducting research on prospective buyers and completing other related paperwork.
• Participation in training as changes occur in the industry will be required.
• Evening and weekend appointments are also required.
