About The Position

This role involves supporting the Office of Community Engagement in student employment, specifically through Federal Work-Study. The Impact Interviewer will be responsible for drafting interview questions, scheduling candidates, and creating compelling stories and social media content based on interviews. Maintaining client confidentiality is paramount. The position requires up to 6 hours per week, primarily between 9 am and 4 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours as needed.

Requirements

  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Draft questions for use in client, community and employee interviews
  • Assist in identifying, reviewing and scheduling potential candidates for interviews
  • Draft stories based upon client, community and employee interviews to highlight the impact of Columbus Houses’ services
  • Assist in editing recorded interviews to utilize video segments and audio clips in social media content
  • Assist in developing social media content for various on-line platforms
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in relation to client services and information
  • Other duties as assigned
