About The Position

This role serves print production and assists with graphic design. The specialist will operate various printing and finishing equipment, including flatbed printers, laminators, cutters, and other wide format printers. They will also use equipment like pallet jacks and hand trucks to move orders and supplies. A key part of the role involves developing positive relationships with customers and reporting any issues to the production supervisor. The specialist represents the company professionally to customers and assists in all print production needs as assigned.

Graphic Design: 1 year (Required)
Ability to Relocate to Cedar Rapids, IA 52402 before starting work (Required)

Vinyl installation is a plus
Large Format Printing: 1 year (Preferred)
Artistic Background: 1 year (Preferred)
High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Responsibilities

Serves print production
Assists with graphic design
Operate Flatbed printer, laminator, cutter, and other wide format printers
Operates pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment as needed to move orders and supplies through the shop
Develops positive relationships with customers and reports any problems to the production supervisor
Represents Rapids Reproductions to customers by doing whatever it takes to complete projects in the most professional way
Assists in all print production needs as assigned by the Production Supervisor
