About The Position

As the Refinish Automotive USCA Zone Director, you are the senior sales executive responsible for driving revenue growth and market expansion across the zone. You will lead implementation of the collision segment strategy to achieve growth targets in the automotive refinish market and report directly to the USCA Collision General Manager.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in automotive aftermarket, coatings, or related B2B industries
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience leading large sales organizations (75+ employees) with $300MM+ revenue responsibility
  • Expertise in the collision repair industry, including MSO and independent body shop relationships
  • Experience leading transformation and change management initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Drive $450–500MM in annual revenue through strategic account management, market expansion, and share‑of‑wallet growth
  • Develop a 100+ person sales organization, including Regional Managers, Territory Sales Managers, and Business Development Managers
  • Develop zone-specific sales strategies that outperforms market growth
  • Ensure disciplined, daily use of Salesforce, including opportunity management, pipeline progression, customer activity logging, and loss tracking
  • Maintain funnel health through weekly pipeline cadence reviews and rigorous opportunity management
  • Identify and convert new business opportunities across existing and emerging channels; expand penetration of mid-tier and value product segments
  • Ensure consistent selling of the full PPG value proposition, including Allied, Digital, and Liquid solutions
  • Provide strategic direction, coaching, and operational leadership to deliver volume growth and margin improvement
  • Implement performance management systems that drive accountability and results across all sales roles
  • Build and sustain a high‑performing, diverse sales organization, including succession planning and talent pipeline development
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity
  • Implement the collision segment strategy as defined by PPG Refinish leadership
  • Lead organizational transformation from product-focused selling to full solutions/value-based selling, positioning PPG as a strategic partner
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver integrated solutions, ensure successful product launches, and improve customer satisfaction and profitability
  • Establish clear distribution accountabilities as PPG increases leadership influence within collision centers
  • Build relationships with body shops, MSOs, regional and national distributors to drive Big Bet wins and conversion growth
  • Lead joint business planning and quarterly forecasting with distribution partners to support accurate inventory planning
  • Partner with national split-line distributors to grow PPG share across collision, commercial, and SEM segments
  • Identify opportunities to expand Platinum Distribution presence in key markets
  • Lead comprehensive sales training to ensure mastery of the full portfolio, including coatings, equipment, and digital solutions
