About The Position

As an experienced Collision Repair Specialist with Penske, you’ll use industry-leading technology, repair techniques, and diagnostic equipment to return customers’ trucks and trailers to high-quality operating condition. You’ll perform minor and major collision repairs and maintenance, with opportunities to work on a variety of equipment and continue learning through in-house training. Penske notes that it was the first in the industry to become I-CAR Gold certified and provides time to complete repairs properly. The role includes collision repair work across truck and trailer systems, including cab and sheet metal, fiberglass, composites, welding and fabrication, frames, suspension, boxes, air conditioning, electrical, brakes, cooling systems, and surface preparation and painting. The specialist identifies required parts and warrantable repairs, maintains a safe and orderly work area, and road-tests vehicles when needed. Work is performed with little or no supervision and in a timely, efficient manner. This is a DOT-regulated or company-designated safety-sensitive position. The associate must follow DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance requirements and remain alert to protect their own safety and the safety of others. Driving Penske and customer vehicles requires a current driver qualification file, including annual MVR checks, a completed DOT physical, and safety-performance-history requests from prior employers. CDL holders are also subject to DOT drug screening within 30 days of starting and an FMCSA Clearinghouse review. Travel, the required schedule and location, a background investigation, and drug screening are required. Penske describes a supportive team culture and offers career stability, growth opportunities, advanced vehicle maintenance technology, competitive salary and incentives, and benefits that include substantial time off.
