About The Position

Zenetec has been a trusted name in collision repair for over 30 years, with multiple locations across Ontario and a reputation for quality, integrity, and exceptional customer service. We are currently recruiting for Collision Repair Estimators across our Barrie, Aurora, and Keswick locations. This role involves assessing vehicle damage, preparing accurate repair estimates, communicating with customers and insurance adjusters, and collaborating with technicians to ensure efficient and high-quality repairs. The position also requires delivering outstanding customer service, contributing to sales objectives, and supporting team members and management.

Requirements

  • Previous collision repair estimating experience is preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to build relationships and generate business.
  • Ability to work independently while adapting to a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid Class G driver's licence with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrates strong customer service skills, a willingness to learn, and a passion for the automotive industry (for individuals without estimating experience).

Responsibilities

  • Assess vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates while identifying opportunities to generate collision repair business.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders throughout the repair process.
  • Prepare and explain repair estimates and ensure all documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Work closely with Collision Technicians to ensure repair plans are clearly communicated and repairs are completed efficiently and to quality standards.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and professionally resolve customer concerns when required.
  • Contribute to monthly sales and performance objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members, mentor apprentices where appropriate, and assist with problem-solving.
  • Participate in team meetings, company initiatives, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Support the Operations Manager in implementing new processes and attend ongoing training to enhance performance.
  • Assist and provide coverage for the Repair Planner role as required.
