About The Position

As a Penske Collision Repair Appraiser, you are responsible for writing collision repair estimates. This full-time position is based at 7475 Jonesboro Rd., Jonesboro, GA, and works Monday through Friday. The role requires customer service and communication skills, knowledge of body shop maintenance operations, and use of the Adjustrite system to complete repair estimates and download them into Summit. The position is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety-sensitive, requiring alertness and safe work practices.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of body shop estimating experience.
• Estimator Certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to understand and comply with instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, and other information established by Penske management.
• Ability to perform work in accordance with DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Willingness to travel as necessary and work the required schedule at the specified location.
• Completion of a Penske employment application and submission to a background investigation, including past employment, education, and criminal history, and drug screening.
• Ability to remain alert and work safely, accepting responsibility for personal and others’ safety.

Responsibilities

• Complete collision repair estimates in the Adjustrite system and download them into Summit.
• Communicate with internal and external customers.
• Provide superior customer relations.
• Apply strong communication and people management skills.
• Use working knowledge of body shop maintenance operations.
• Complete other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
• Follow DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety and maintenance policies, including proper tool and PPE use and established safety practices.
• Comply with instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, and other information established by Penske management.
