About The Position

As a Penske Body Shop Estimator, you are responsible for writing collision repair estimates. The position is based at 6633 South 13th Street, Milwaukee, WI 53221. This role is regulated by the Department of Transportation or designated as safety sensitive by the company and requires working in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, while accepting responsibility for personal and others’ safety.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of body shop estimating experience.
• Estimator certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and people management skills.
• Working knowledge of body shop maintenance operations.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and work at the specified location.
• Complete a Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, including past employment, education, and criminal history, and drug screening.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner, and accept responsibility for personal and others’ safety.
• Ability to remember and understand instructions, guidelines, and other information; see and verbally communicate; and meet the stated vision requirements.
• Ability to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit; use hands to touch, handle, and feel; reach with hands and arms; regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg; and occasionally lift or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.

Responsibilities

• Write collision repair estimates.
• Complete repair estimates in the Adjustrite system and download them into Summit.
• Communicate with internal and external customers.
• Maintain superior customer relations.
• Carry out other projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
