About The Position

Crash Champions is hiring a Collision Estimator to guide customers through vehicle repairs and insurance procedures, prepare and finalize repair estimates, and manage repairs through the repair process. The estimator supports repair quality by conducting in-process quality control, reviewing repair data and procedures with Body Technicians, and completing post-scanning. The role also involves keeping customers informed, preparing repair orders for closing, handling disbursement paperwork, and ensuring file exceptions and carrier-specific requirements are addressed.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of dealing with insurance partners.
Knowledge of multiple estimating systems; CCC One is preferred, as well as Mitchell and Audatex.

Responsibilities

Educate customers about vehicle repair processes, insurance procedures, customer rights, repair techniques, safety, and value.
Complete initial estimates, write complete estimates after full disassembly and damage evaluation, and lock final estimates.
Manage each repair throughout the process and ensure Crash Champions’ quality standards by performing in-process quality control.
Keep customers informed and updated on their vehicle status and provide a positive customer experience.
Pull and review data procedures for or with Body Technicians and complete post-scanning for each vehicle in the repair process.
Pre-close the final repair order, handle disbursement paperwork, address file exceptions, and ensure carrier-specific requirements are complete.
