Steele Auto Group is seeking a Collision Customer Service Advisor to join our growing team at Border Town Collision! As a Collision Customer Service Advisor with Border Town Collision, you'll be the welcoming face of our collision center and a key point of contact for our customers throughout the repair process. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential as you assist customers with inquiries, appointments, repair updates, and insurance-related questions while ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Success in this role requires a friendly and professional attitude, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel) and email
  • Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a diverse, fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines
  • Professional appearance, strong work ethic, and a positive team attitude

Nice To Haves

  • experience in customer service is preferred
  • familiarity with Audatex and Mitchell Estimating software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service in line with Steele Collision’s best practices and CSI goals
  • Manage front office operations to ensure smooth organization and interdepartmental support
  • Collaborate with production, estimator, and shop managers to ensure timely and flawless vehicle delivery
  • Communicate with customers, explaining processes, providing repair status updates, and coordinating with partners (e.g., rental and insurance companies)
  • Build strong customer relationships through service excellence and the promotion of Steele Collision services
  • Handle administrative tasks such as updating repair orders, scheduling appointments, managing customer databases, and ensuring accurate billing
  • Adhere to safety regulations, complete required training, maintain a positive team environment, and perform additional office duties as needed
  • Other duties as required
