About The Position

The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) is seeking motivated students for the Fall 2026 semester to work in The Den, a hub within the Office of Civic and Cultural Engagement. The Den connects students to campus resources, leadership opportunities, and engagement experiences, fostering an inclusive environment that celebrates cultural diversity and promotes belonging, civic responsibility, and student success. This position involves managing the daily operations of The Den, assisting students, executing events, creating social media content, and supporting communication efforts.

Only students who have completed this year’s FAFSA and accepted the Student Employment Award in their Financial Aid Package are eligible to apply

Have proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Nice To Haves

Experience with graphic design preferred
Skills in photography, video creation and edition, desirable
Knowledge of Cricut machine operation, a plus

Responsibilities

Managing the day-to-day utilization of the Den, sharing resources, and demonstrating exceptional service to our diverse campus community
Help execute on-campus events, info-meetings and classroom visits
Assist walk-in students
Create, publish, and monitor social media content across different platforms
Assist with the creation and send newsletters or announcements
Attend, take photos, record, and/or live stream events
Additional duties as assigned
