This entry level position and job duties will allow you to: Development of tooling and equipment designs from engineering hardware specifications and culminating in complete technical data packages fully defining the tooling / equipment and al-lowing fabrication of detailed components and assembly of the end item. Design / documentation efforts to be accomplished IAW company standards utilizing Pro-engineer / Solid Works. Provide engineering support to the production floor for issues that may surface in normal day to day integration processes by analyzing and using problem solving skills in a team environment in accordance with production rate requirements. Research, plan, design and develop mechanical products and systems such as instruments, con-trols, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, thermal hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy. Applies research to the planning, design, development, and testing of mechanical and / or electromechanical systems, instruments, controls, engines, and / or machines. “relocation is unavailable for this position”.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace Engineering and/or Technical related discipline.
  • Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledgeable of general manufacturing / integration processes / machine / tool mechanical design
  • Proficiency or experience with AutoCAD, CREO, or Solid Works.
  • Knowledgeable of engineering materials
  • Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
  • Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
