About The Position
The College of Nursing is offering internship opportunities for students interested in higher education, health care, research, technology, administration, or student services. Interns will support various departments within the college, including Human Resources, Information Technology, Instructional Design, Advancement and Development, Facilities and Operations, Dean's Office, Office of Student Services, Operational Excellence, Office of Research, Academic Services, and Faculty Affairs. These roles provide practical, hands-on professional experience, opportunities to develop leadership and project management skills, and exposure to experienced higher education professionals. Interns will contribute to initiatives supporting student success, research, innovation, and organizational excellence. Internship schedules and formats may vary, with options for on-site or hybrid work arrangements and flexible, part-time schedules across fall, spring, and summer semesters.
Requirements
- High School Diploma
- Have an interest in higher education, health care, research, technology, administration or student services
- Be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program
- Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills
- Have strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office applications
- Be able to work independently and collaboratively
