About The Position

Marriott Vacations Worldwide offers a comprehensive internship program at one of our corporate office locations, available in 3- or 6-month durations. The program is built around gaining in-person, on-site work experience, receiving personalized guidance from experienced department leaders, participating in exclusive sessions with senior company executives, shadowing different departments, conducting interviews with senior leaders, collaborating on meaningful projects, and joining interactive online sessions. This specific internship is within the Corporate Tax Technology department and focuses on driving technology and AI initiatives to improve business processes and operational efficiency, leveraging Microsoft Copilot and Excel for automation opportunities, and developing process flow documentation using Visio. The intern will support corporate tax functions through process improvement, data analysis, and operational initiatives, excluding payroll tax.

Requirements

• Actively pursuing a college degree at any level.
• Pursuing a degree in Accounting or Info Systems.
• Proficiency in Excel, Copilot & Visio.

Nice To Haves

• Power BI or Power Query experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with department specific day-to-day operations.
• Support project planning and execution under the guidance of team members.
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and feedback.
• Gather and analyze data to support projects, reports, or presentation.
• Drive technology and AI initiatives to improve business processes and operational efficiency.
• Leverage Microsoft Copilot and Excel to identify automation and workflow improvement opportunities.
• Develop and update process documentation using Visio.
• Support corporate tax functions through process improvement, data analysis, and operational initiatives (excluding payroll tax).
