About The Position

Marriott Vacations Worldwide offers a comprehensive internship program at one of our corporate office locations, available in 3- or 6-month durations. This program is built around gaining in-person, on-site work experience within a designated department, receiving personalized guidance from experienced leaders, participating in exclusive sessions with senior executives, shadowing different departments, conducting interviews with senior leaders, collaborating on meaningful projects, and connecting with fellow interns. The Corporate HR Internship specifically runs during Summer 2027, starting in May 2027, with a pay rate of $18.50 per hour. The internship is located at MVW HQ in Orlando, FL and is a hybrid role. Candidates must be actively pursuing a college degree at any level, with a preference for degrees in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Electrical Engineering. The role involves assisting with department-specific day-to-day operations, supporting project planning and execution, attending team meetings, gathering and analyzing data, supporting Regional Directors of Engineering with CRPM project coordination, contractor communications, and stakeholder engagement, assisting with CRPM reserve projects, and supporting energy and sustainability initiatives.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be actively pursuing a college degree at any level.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Familiar with PMWeb, Asgard, and CMMS platforms.
  • Strong project tracking and coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage project data and workflows.

Nice To Haves

  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering/Aerospace Engineering or Electrical Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with department specific day-to-day operations.
  • Support project planning and execution under the guidance of team members.
  • Attend team meetings and contribute ideas and feedback.
  • Gather and analyze data to support projects, reports, or presentation.
  • Support Regional Directors of Engineering across four regions with CRPM project coordination, contractor communications, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Assist with CRPM reserve projects for resorts in the East, Florida-Caribbean, West, and Hawaii regions.
  • Support energy and sustainability initiatives, including coordination with Schneider Electric, Wasteology, and Asgard system updates.
