About The Position

SRP is seeking a motivated College Intern to support our teams while gaining hands‑on experience in a collaborative, mission‑driven environment. This internship offers students the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to real‑world projects that support SRP’s commitment to delivering reliable, sustainable water and power services. Interns will work closely with experienced professionals, contribute to meaningful work, and develop technical and professional skills relevant to their field of study. The role is designed to foster learning, teamwork, and innovation while providing exposure to SRP’s operations and culture. This is an excellent opportunity for students who are eager to learn, grow, and make an impact while exploring a future career with SRP. The student intern will work daily scheduled hours based on the department’s needs, with a minimum requirement of 15 hours and up to 40 hours per week maximum.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, AUD and Utility Scale Distribution Electrical Systems

Responsibilities

  • Schedule meetings, take notes, and manage documentation.
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and organizing digital assets.
  • Contribute to ongoing projects by preparing reports or presentations and summaries.
  • Assist in testing, troubleshooting, or documenting technical processes and proposed improvements.
  • Coordinate with team members, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Draft emails, memos, or summaries as needed.
  • Attend team meetings, training sessions, and shadow professionals.
  • Ask questions and seek feedback to grow professionally.
  • Learn and use internal tools, software, and systems relevant to the team's work.
  • Maintain and update Work Management System/Tools.
