About The Position

This is a paid internship program. The intern will be responsible for assisting technical staff with creating and updating the hydrogeologic information database. This will include reviewing and organizing historical well construction files, geophysical logs, video logs, packer tests, aquifer performance tests, water quality data, and lithology documentation. The intern will also provide technical and field support to field staff regarding well abandonments, groundwater sampling, and well construction and maintenance.

Requirements

  • College or university student currently enrolled in a degree-seeking program and either attending classes or participating in a work experience program sanctioned by the individual school and at least a junior level (senior level preferred) studying in a related field.
  • Maintain a 2.5 GPA or higher.
  • Ability to manage, analyze, and organize large amounts of data with Microsoft Excel and Access.
  • Ability to communicate well with others.
  • Ability to maintain a priority of data integrity and efficiency.
  • Ability to endure outdoor environments in uncomfortable temperatures, inclement weather, and remote locations.

Nice To Haves

  • Ability to use ArcGIS.

Responsibilities
