About The Position

The College and Career Navigator (CCN) is a full-time position responsible for supporting students in the adult education program. The role involves participating in program orientations, reviewing student goals, analyzing assessments, coordinating with instructors and tutors, making referrals to community resources, assisting students with barriers to attendance (like childcare and transportation), providing resources for workforce or postsecondary transitions, and documenting all student support activities.

Requirements

• Must have a Bachelor's degree.
• Must provide a copy of his or her transcript(s) to the local director's office.
• Must take the ACT ® WorkKeys ® Assessments Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, and Workplace Documents.
• Verification of NCRC to be on file with the director.
• Must pass a criminal background check as prescribed by state statute.

• Experience in education, adult education, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in program orientation.
• Review student goals and analyze assessments.
