As a new Collector in the Business Office at Minden Medical Center, you can expect a dynamic and engaging work environment. Your day-to-day activities will involve reviewing patient accounts, communicating with insurance companies, and following up on outstanding balances. You'll be responsible for accurately documenting interactions and ensuring all information is updated in our systems. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, so you'll engage with patients to clarify billing inquiries and resolve any discrepancies. Your schedule will be Monday to Friday, allowing you to maintain a healthy work-life balance. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently as you navigate the intricacies of healthcare billing. Requirements

  • Six months medical billing experience required.
  • Proficiency in medical billing software and tools is crucial
