About The Position

The Collections Operations Associate I is responsible for providing support for the Collections and Recovery teams through research, processing requests/transactions, mail and coordination of department communications.

Requirements

  • One or more years' experience in an administrative role.
  • A high school diploma or GED, required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including business writing ability.
  • Excellent time management skills and accustomed to working with deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferably in the financial services industry.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates the processing and delivery of all incoming and outgoing physical/electronic department communications.
  • Processes monetary transactions; including account overrides, checks processing, invoicing, money transfers and general ledger transactions.
  • Performs account maintenance requests, including account closing, charge-offs and status changes.
  • Identifies gaps in department processes and procedures, recommends improvements to leadership.
  • Assists leadership with research requests, special projects the facilitation of department supply and equipment requests, as required.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
