About The Position

At Prisma, formerly Vivid Ink, we rely on a meticulous financial system to drive business forward. Our billing department keeps that system running smoothly by invoicing customers on a timely basis. The billing specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners.

Requirements

Strong debt collection and cash collection skills, including experience with accounts receivable and past-due account management.
Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact professionally with clients and internal teams.
Foundational finance skills, such as understanding invoices, payment terms, reconciliations, and basic accounting principles.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple accounts and deadlines.
4 years of experience in AR Collections.

Nice To Haves

Proficiency with billing software, ERP or accounting systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is beneficial.
Experience in a collection, billing, or accounts receivable role, preferably in a corporate or agency environment, is beneficial.
1 year of experience in Billing or Accounts Receivable.

Responsibilities

Process invoices in compliance with financial policies and procedures
Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients
Understand expense accounts and cost centers
Understand customer issues around the billing processes
Collections on delinquent accounts
Weekly reporting to CFO
Posting payments
