About The Position

Credit Quick of Winston-Salem, a leader in Lease Here-Pay Here (LHPH) auto finance, is seeking a results-driven Collection Manager to lead our Loan Servicing Department. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to directly impact the financial success of the company while building, mentoring, and inspiring a high-performance team. As Collection Manager, you won’t just oversee collections - you’ll be the driving force behind operational efficiency, compliance excellence, and customer satisfaction. Your leadership will ensure delinquency and charge-offs remain at a minimum while maximizing recovery, cash flow, and overall portfolio health.

Requirements

Proven leadership: 3+ years of management experience in collections, preferably in BHPH/LHPH finance.
Compliance expertise: In-depth knowledge of collection, bankruptcy, and repossession laws.
Tech-savvy mindset: Skilled with computer systems and standard software tools.
Results-oriented leader: Demonstrated success in reducing delinquency and boosting recovery.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage all daily operations of the Collections Department.
Establish clear performance goals for service and collections associates.
Ensure strict compliance with collection, bankruptcy, and repossession regulations.
Track and analyze delinquency, recovery, and charge-off trends to drive strategy.
Recruit, train, and motivate a skilled collections team while managing schedules.
Direct repossession assignments and monitor resolution outcomes.
Oversee payment processing, review cash balancing daily, and report discrepancies.
Collaborate with leadership in management meetings and align department goals.
Conduct staff meetings to reinforce objectives and maintain accountability.
Drive productivity by refining processes and implementing proven systems.
