About The Position

The Collateral & Insurance Processor’s primary focus is the collateral securing loans in the Bank. The processor will work closely with lending staff and other necessary departments to ensure trailing loan documents and required insurance coverages are in place.

Requirements

  • Professional written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Professional telephone etiquette required.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Must become highly proficient in knowing and understanding loan documentation.
  • Must become fluent with the document file system Synergy, outsourced third party insurance website, and Silverlake
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer experience including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior loan document experience preferred.
  • Prior experience with Property and Casualty Insurance preferred.
  • Prior experience with titles (vehicle, boat, motorcycle, mobile home, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Process documents received via email, USPS, workflow queue etc.
  • Maintain the document tracking system on Silverlake by verifying the accuracy and recordation of Deeds of Trusts, Final Title Opinions, Final Title Insurance Policies, hazard/flood insurance, auto/equipment insurance, titles and UCCs etc.
  • Completes Weekly insurance reporting reviews
  • Contact Insurance Companies/Borrowers to inquire on required insurance policies
  • Scan documents received into the electronic filing system Synergy
  • Maintain UCC continuation tracking and obtain continuations as needed
  • Release titles, deed of trust, UCCs and other documents required per loan payoff
  • Force-place insurance (hazard and flood) on an as-needed basis
  • Other duties as assigned
