About The Position

The University of Wyoming is seeking a Collaborative Pianist to join its campus community within the Music Department. This role involves providing vital support to campus customers by performing as a collaborative pianist for various departmental activities. These activities include rehearsals and performances for student degree recitals, large ensemble rehearsals and performances, instrumental and vocal juries, instrumental and voice classes, and lessons. The Collaborative Pianist will also perform for the biannual concerto competition and other department performances and events as assigned. Requirements

  • Master’s degree
  • 1 year work-related experience

  • Evidence of significant collaborative piano experience in a collegiate setting.

Responsibilities

  • Under the direction of the Professor for Collaborative Piano, perform as collaborative pianist for department rehearsals and performances for student degree recitals.
  • Perform as collaborative pianist for large ensemble rehearsals and performances.
  • Perform as collaborative pianist for department instrumental and vocal juries.
  • Under the direction of the Professor of Collaborative Piano, perform as collaborative pianist for instrumental and voice classes.
  • Perform as collaborative pianist for lessons.
  • Perform as collaborative pianist for biannual concerto competition and other department performances and events as assigned.
  • Serve as collaborative pianist for department events or other duties as needed.
