Cold Storage Distribution Warehouse Associate
About The Position
COLD STORAGE WAREHOUSE - PICKING AND PACKING – ICE CREAM DISTRIBUTION Production Department --- Distribution Center, Middletown, PA Shifts Monday-Friday - 6am to approximately 3:30pm or until completion. Consistent Schedule – Average a 45-50 hour workweek each week, Monday through Friday. Consistent Shift Every Week – Monday-Friday, 10-hour days. No Weekends. No Holidays. Consistent Overtime Pay – overtime after 40 hours each week. Starting wage of $22.64 / hour ; increased to $23.24 after 60 days of positive performance -- $34.86/hour per OT Hour. 100% Company-Paid healthcare and life insurance. 401K with company match. Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Warehousing/Forklift experience preferred
- Must be able to walk and/or stand for majority of shift
- Ability to lift 25-50 pounds
- Ability to work in cold temperatures 0° to -20°
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment drug screens and criminal background checks
Responsibilities
- Picking orders along state-of-the-art, guided product racking to conveyor systems
- Palletize and prep product for shipping
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trailers
- Must observe all safety procedures, Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Other responsibilities as they are assigned.
