About The Position

Responsible for coordinating work efforts of warehouse employees, typically with relation to an area of the warehouse facility or identified set of activities. This role involves overseeing daily activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness, and maintaining customer service standards. The position requires hands-on involvement in receiving, inventory management, product preparation for shipment, and documentation.

Requirements

• Regularly stand and walk for 8 or more hours in a day.
• Effectively handle lifting, pushing, pulling up to 60 pounds frequently.
• Frequently required to bend, twist, stoop, grip, climb or balance, reach with hands and arms.
• Use strong math skills to count and multiply accurately.
• Use non-motorized and powered equipment.

Nice To Haves

• Prior warehouse/distribution experience
• Prior use of forklift and other motorized equipment
• Customer service experience

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of warehouse staff to ensure accuracy and timeliness, following defined procedures and policies while ensuring customer service standards are met.
• Verify items received by checking identifying information, inspecting condition, and recording count/measure of items.
• Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock; recording location of inventory.
• Prepare product for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, loading, and securing product.
• Document product shipment by recording units shipped.
• Maintain material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, following operating procedures, and requesting repairs.
• Process inventory by stacking, un-stacking, re-stacking, wrapping, unwrapping, and other assigned processes.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following safety rules and regulations.
• Perform other job duties as assigned, including wave planning, assisting supervisors, and covering for warehouse labor as needed.
