About The Position

The Coin Bin Driver operates a Brink’s-owned or leased 24-foot dry van straight truck to travel to customer pickup and delivery locations. The role is responsible for maintaining the truck’s safety, security, and control, and for guarding customer liability while valuables are picked up or delivered. The driver interacts courteously and professionally with customers, maintains communication with branch or dispatch personnel, and completes driving and delivery documentation. The position may require weekend, holiday, or extended-hours work and cross-training to perform other assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the safety, security, and control of a Brink’s-owned or leased 24-foot dry van straight truck while driving to and from customer pickup and delivery locations.
• Guard customer liability during the delivery or pickup of valuables at customer locations.
• Maintain a courteous and professional demeanor during daily customer interactions.
• Load and unload the truck.
• Maintain radio communication with branch and/or dispatch personnel.
• Report faults or discrepancies experienced during the day’s activity.
• Complete appropriate driving and delivery documentation.
• Ensure the vehicle’s interior is clean.
• Observe all security and safety procedures.
• Work weekends, holidays, and/or extended hours as needed.
• Cross-train and perform other duties as assigned.
