About The Position

KLX Energy Services LLC is seeking a Coil Supervisor for its Odessa, Texas location. The role oversees and trains field service personnel performing routine onsite services, including installation, maintenance, and repairs. It ensures standard operating procedures for product-line equipment, tools, and techniques are applied and that operations are executed safely according to client requirements and expectations. The Coil Supervisor provides technical support and supervision at wellsites, yards, and other work locations, and coordinates operations using technical expertise. The position also promotes the company’s health, safety, and environmental program and prepares or oversees required job documentation.

Requirements

2–4 years of work experience.
Valid Class A Driver’s License with X endorsement and an acceptable driving record.
Current Well Control Certificate.
Valid NCCCO Crane Operator License.

Nice To Haves

4–6 years of work experience.
Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal forms.
Proficiency with MS Office 365 applications.

Responsibilities

Supervise field operations and provide technical support at wellsites, yards, and other work locations, ensuring efficiency and quality assurance.
Maintain communication with client wellsite representatives, rig crews, and field support staff.
Plan and coordinate operations, determining equipment needs and appropriate techniques and uses.
Advise clients on procedures and troubleshoot onsite issues.
Promote the company HSE program and ensure compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company and industry standards.
Conduct daily pre-job safety meetings.
Operate cranes at the wellsite and other locations as needed.
Prepare and deliver job documentation, including field tickets, job detail reports, maintenance forms, work orders, safety meeting forms, and JSA forms.
Ensure crew members prepare and deliver required documentation.
Train, coach, and mentor trainees.
Perform other duties as assigned.
