About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining the production schedule, ensuring quality checks are met, and performing daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance. The Coil Fabricator will also be responsible for operating controls, managing production workload to maximize throughput, and ensuring all documentation is completed accurately. This role requires adherence to company policies, a positive attitude, and a commitment to continuous improvement in quality, safety, and productivity.

  • Able to complete all documents pertaining to the process
  • Safe operation of all overhead lifting cranes and jib booms
  • Basic shop math (i.e. add/subtract/divide/multiply, whole numbers and fractions)
  • Read a tape measure to within 1/16”
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Able to read and understand all engineering prints related to the process

Nice To Haves

  • A general understanding of common hand tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain production schedule
  • Make quality checks to ensure materials, parts and process are compliant with engineering requirements
  • Maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance PM’s that are the operators’ responsibility
  • Complete all production and quality documentation
  • Make stop and mandrel adjustments to produce quality bends of tube
  • Operate controls
  • Manage production workload to minimize tooling changes and maximize throughput
  • Make quality checks to ensure materials, parts and workmanship are compliant with engineering requirements and productions expectations
  • Assist in other areas of the shop when needed
