Cognitive Neurologist
About The Position
Dartmouth Health is seeking a fellowship-trained Cognitive Neurologist to join our dynamic and multidisciplinary neurology team at our academic medical center in Lebanon, NH. This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with cognitive and behavioral neurological disorders. The ideal candidate will be able to help us grow and evolve the program. The position is outpatient only, with an option for some inpatient work if desired. There are no nights, weekend, or call requirements. The role involves 32 clinical hours each week plus 8 hours of protected admin/asynchronous time, with 60 minutes allocated for new patients and 30 minutes for follow-up visits. The position can be full-time or part-time and includes an academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College.
Requirements
- MD/DO from an accredited institution
- Fellowship training in Cognitive or Behavioral Neurology
- Ability to obtain/maintain medical licensure in NH and VT
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Passion for compassionate care and academic excellence
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with cognitive and behavioral neurological disorders.
- Help grow and evolve the cognitive neurology program.
- Conduct outpatient neurology visits, with an option for some inpatient work.
- Engage in academic activities at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College.
