About The Position

Do you love bringing beverage equipment back to life? Farmer Brothers Revive™ Service and Restoration team is searching for a Coffee Brewing Equipment Service Specialist to own installations, maintenance, and emergency repairs for coffee and beverage dispensing systems. If you are a hands on problem solver with a service mindset, this role was made for you. You will Install, service, and remove commercial coffee and beverage equipment for assigned customers Tackle scheduled and unscheduled work: preventative maintenance, emergency calls, surveys, and full installations Rotate through after hours and weekend on call coverage Manage van stock by maintaining spare parts and equipment levels; reorder per replenishment rules Close every call with accurate documentation: detailed work notes, complete invoices, and customer signatures Plan, schedule, and execute installation projects Communicate clearly and promptly with customers and internal teams Share customer requests and insights with management and partner departments Follow service level agreements for each customer program Organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 plus years of mechanical and technical experience
  • Valid driver license with a clean record
  • Ability to travel within a 100 plus mile radius of the branch and occasionally within the region
  • Skill in diagnosing and resolving equipment issues
  • Capacity to lift up to 60 pounds frequently
  • Experience balancing planned maintenance with urgent service needs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer first approach
  • Commitment to business goals; quick to spot issues and opportunities
  • Applies new learning on the job and understands impact on teammates and customers
  • Active listener who provides clear updates to customers and leadership
  • Proactive in identifying opportunities to grow the business
  • Builds trust and cooperative relationships
  • Exercises sound judgment and makes timely decisions

Nice To Haves

  • Foodservice experience preferred
  • Background in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and use of multimeters preferred
