We’re Farmer Brothers’ Revive™ Service & Restoration team—the folks behind the coffee and tea equipment that keeps workplaces and restaurants humming. As a Coffee & Tea Brewing Systems Field Technician, you’ll be the pro customers rely on to install, maintain, and rescue their brewing equipment when it breaks down. Is this you? Do you enjoy diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues quickly and accurately? Are you comfortable managing your own workload, parts, and documentation? Can you switch gears from scheduled maintenance to an urgent call without missing a beat?

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of mechanical/technical experience required.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to travel within a 100+ mile radius of the branch.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Comfort lifting up to 60 lbs frequently.
  • Proven ability to handle both planned and urgent service work (emergency calls, PMs, surveys, installs).

  • Foodservice industry experience preferred.
  • Background with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, or test meters preferred.
  • Clear written and verbal communication; great with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, remove, and service commercial coffee and beverage dispensing equipment across your designated territory.
  • Tackle PMs, emergency service calls, site surveys, and new installs—both scheduled and unscheduled.
  • Participate in an after-hours and weekend on-call rotation.
  • Keep your van stocked: maintain spare parts levels and reorder per guidelines.
  • Close every service call with complete records: work performed, time, invoice accuracy, and customer signatures.
  • Help plan and carry out installation projects and equipment rollouts.
  • Communicate promptly and clearly with customers and internal teams; pass along feedback to management or other departments.
  • Meet service level agreements and prioritize tasks to deliver on expectations.
