COEE Presales System Engineer (2027 Internship)
About The Position
The Pre-Sales Systems Engineer is the architect and owner of solution design, developing, designing, evaluating, and modifying system solutions and architecture to meet customer requirements. The role supports the Center of Excellence Engineering (CoEE) Team, which helps Motorola Solutions’ Channel Partners design solutions and prepare customer proposals, including equipment lists, proposal text, and coverage studies. Interns assist Systems Engineers in all aspects of their work, beginning with basic tasks and small project assignments and progressing to larger projects with more responsibility. The internship is intended to develop candidates for full-time systems engineering positions after graduation. The role uses the Google Suite Platform and contributes to the company’s customer-focused, trusted-advisor approach.
Requirements
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Must have a graduation date on or after December 2027.
Responsibilities
- Develop, design, evaluate, and modify system solutions and architecture to meet customer requirements.
- Generate equipment lists.
- Describe system designs, including diagrams.
- Understand customer requirements.
- Design and analyze radio coverage.
- Calculate power and networking requirements.
- Participate in proposal reviews and contract negotiations.
- Provide consultative guidance to customers and the sales team.
- Assist Systems Engineers in their work, beginning with small assignments and taking on larger projects with more responsibility.
- Use the Google Suite Platform.
