About The Position

For more information on our products, services and locations visit www.govce.net To provide leadership to the Codes Department to ensure accurate selling prices for VCE products. Ensures pricing is built from accurate bill of materials (BOM) based on input from manufacturing plants, ensures the setup of item numbers, audits BOMs, reviews change notices, writes and reviews cost-sell documentation and establishes sale prices based on VCE operating procedure. Provides the leadership for a workforce directed toward the achievement of strategic objectives for profitability, quality products, customer loyalty, and accurate and complete orders delivered on time. Audits and verifies accuracy and ensure quality of documents. If hired by VCE you will start or restart a 12-month probationary period. This is for all New Hires, Transfers, returning State Employees.

Requirements

Proficiency in computer keyboarding and MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
Proficiency in planning, organizing, record-keeping, purchasing, problem-solving, and training.
Ability to effectively manage time, maintain attention to detail, prioritize, and make decisions.
Ability to work independently, resolve problems, and perform effectively in complex work situations that involve multi-tasking and procedural requirements.
Ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing, listen effectively and handle difficult situations.
Considerable knowledge of manufacturing, routings and bill of materials that relate to the coding function.

Nice To Haves

Technically proficient in Chisel or other ERP/MRP related software.
2-5 years’ experience in a Supervisory role.
